This is one fans of Paul Wesley have been waiting for.. I know I have. I will be getting a few extra copies of Wolf Lake and having Paul sign. Should be just in time for Xmas..
The show originally aired in 2001 – 02, and starred our very own Stefan (Paul Wesley) as Luke Cates who is . . . a werewolf!!! Five episodes were aired on CBS before it was cancelled and then, in 2007, the Sci Fi Channel (now syfy) re-aired all ten episodes. Both Syfy and The Chiller Network air them frequently now.
The series is set in the Pacific Northwest (Twilight, anyone?) and follows the dynamic of a pack of werewolves in a Seattle suburb.
It all starts when Seattle police detective John Canin (played by Lou Diamond Phillips) starts searching for clues in his girlfriend Ruby’s disappearance in her hometown of Wolf Lake. His experiences there raise more questions, as he realizes there is something strange going on in Wolf Lake. Tim Matheson (The West Wing) stars as the local Sheriff, Matthew Donner. Graham Greene (New Moon, The Green Mile) also stars as Sherman Blackstone and Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter) stars as Sophia Donner.

I know this DVD is coming out Nov 6 and u can order it on amazon.com but I rang them and they said it’s only for Canada and the USA no good for the UK
Dammit. So that means no New Zealand. D; .
