Only have a picture so far of this interview page. I took the time to type out the interview because it was such a hard read if you just tried to look at picture. It’s a weird, quirky interview.
If you could choose between being a vampire or staying human, what would you pick?
PW: Do I have to be really pale and act brooding all the time?
No, you can just feed off animals, it’s up to you
PW: Oh, yeah I think I would probably do it. (laughs)
So tell us about working with you Vampire Diaries co-stars, Ian Somerhalder & Nina Dobrev. Do you get along?
PW: Yeah, we’re sort of close by default. (laughs) When you spend 3 years with someone everyday, it’s like being in a relationship with them.
Have you even seen a ghost?
PW: I saw a ghost once. When I was a kid my family was staying in a rental in Rhode Island in Cape Cod. I woke up and saw a woman standing with her arms crossed, starring out the window. I realized she wasn’t with our group, so I called out to her and she turned to me and faded. I was confused and I didn’t realize it was a ghost until later, but by that point I was scared.
What’s it like having to bite necks on the show?
PW: You don’t really realize how bizarre it is because you’re so used to it. You don’t really think twice. and then suddenly you’re biting this person you’ve never met before on the neck and you kinda look around and think about how odd the profession is.
So that blood you drink on the show, what is it?
PW: Firstly, it’s not real blood, which is good news – or maybe it’s bad news, I don’t know. It’s a combination of some nasty artificial stuff and fruit juice.
What did you have for breakfast this morning?
PW: I didn’t actually eat breakfast this morning. I had lunch for breakfast. I went to my favorite restaurant and had a whole bunch of Thai food.
If you could choose to have any superpower, what would it be?Paul Wesley Interview in Girlfriend August 2012
If I had to pick one, I wouldn’t mind being able to look people in the eye and compel them. I would pretty much have no issue in my life then. If I ever had any type of disagreement, I could just look at them and I’d win.
