3:37 p.m. Moderator introduces Zach Roerig, Steven R. McQueen, Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder, Executive Producer Julie Plec, Michael Trevino, and Executive Producer Kevin Williamson.

3:40 p.m. Williamson says they’ve been back, shooting for a week.

3:41 p.m. Williamson: “Where is season 4 going?” Plec: “We’ve been in the writer’s room for a couple of months now. Everything feels so fresh, new, familiar in all the right ways. Different in the best ways.”

3:43 p.m. Williamson: “Is Tyler the same from season 1?” Trevino: “He was…” Dobrev: “A douchebag.”

3:44 p.m. Williamson: “Season 4 is a season of change. What’s in store for Elena?” Dobrev: “It’s gonna be hard to make (vampire) Elena different from Katherine. It’s gonna be tricky. She’s going to be defined by her experiences.”

3:46 p.m. Williamson: “Talk about Damon in season 3.” Somerhalder: “Damon is NOT a nice guy. The reality of it is, this year he said, ‘I did everything you wanted me to do. I tried everything you wanted me to try’ and you know what? It didn’t work.” Wesley: “In reality, the darkness is so intense, and Stefan doesn’t know what to do with it.”

3:48 p.m. Williamson: “How does it feel to be the last human being in Mystic Falls?” Roerig: “I’m proud to be the only human.”

3:50 p.m. McQueen: “Jeremy’s been going through a journey. Maybe he will find love.”

3:52 p.m. Plec: “What’s great about what we’ve accomplished as a group, is fans really, really, really, really, really want it to go their way. When I watch love triangles, I want both of them to win.”

3:54 p.m. Williamson: “Worst part of your job?” Dobrev: “Nothing.” Trevino: “The cookies! The catering and cookies!”

3:55 p.m. Williamson: “If you could talk to the writers, who would you have your character hook up with?” Roerig: “I wanna see Matt and Sheriff Forbes should get together.” Wesley: “I want to jump in bed with Elijah.” Dobrev: “Who haven’t I hooked up with? I feel like I’ve made out with everyone in the cast.”

3:56 p.m. Williamson: “Favorite scene?” McQueen: “Episode 10. I got to shoot a crossbow.” Dobrev: “The underwater stuff. We were in a police training / Navy place.” Somerhalder: “It’s pretty badass. When you get to work every day it feels like we’re on a $10 million feature.” Plec: “I loved the candlelight vigil.” Wesley: “Matt Davis had tears in his eyes.”

3:58 p.m. Fan: “A fact we don’t know about each actor?” Plec: “Steven McQueen is a goofball with a heart of gold. Zach’s grown into a good man. And he hunts turkeys. Paul Wesley is funny. Nina Dobrev is going to rule the universe. Ian had a sit down with Jesus Christ I think. Mike stands up for women.”

4:02 p.m. Fan: “Is Katherine going to be around in Season 4?” Plec: “Not until Klaus is no longer a threat.”

4:03 p.m. Fan: “Nina, was it ever hard to keep the secret of Elena’s transformation?” Dobrev: “It was tough. You’re still acting, even when not on set.”

4:04 p.m. Mod: “How long did you know Elena was going to become a vampire?” Dobrev: “Julie told me maybe 3 or 4 episodes before.”

4:05 p.m. Fan: “Is there any Matt Davis eps this season?” Plec: “Well…he definitely has contractual permission to appear. It’s possible. It’s certainly something all of us would like to see.”

4:07 p.m. Someone shouts, “I love you, Ian!” Somerhalder: “I LOVE YOU TOO! I think that was Matt Davis.”

4:09 p.m. Fan: “Where did Esther come from?” Plec: “Good question! We’ll be exploring that this year.”

4:10 p.m. Fan: “Do you think Damon will be happy Elena’s a vampire?” Somerhalder: “It could be fun. The really cool thing is now she’s a badass vampire. And she can take care of herself. Finally.”

4:12 p.m. Dobrev: “Team Meredith.”

4:13 p.m. Fan: “Will you be dealing with more adult issues this season?” Plec: “How much more adult can we get than the shit we’ve been doing the past 3 years?”

4:14 p.m. Fan: “If you were put in the Hunger Games arena, who would you kill first? Last?” McQueen: “I’d take Stefan out first.” Plec: “I’d pull a wild berry with Kevin so we can both see tomorrow.” Dobrev: “I’d create an alliance with Zach because he can hunt turkeys.” Somerhalder: “I’d kill ‘em all.” Trevino: “I’d need to team up with Zach. I’m a city boy, it ain’t gonna work.”
