Yes, I know. This is a sad moment, but Stelena is SO GOOD during sad moments! And Paul Wesley’s tears? Come on now.

Not much to say here, but OMFG Paul is hot. Also, it’s sweet that he doesn’t want her to see his blood-thirsty side, but she tells him not to hide. Plus, the music just fits the scene so well.
1. Stefan Calls Elena — Season 3, Episode 1 “The Birthday”
At this point, us Stelena fans were dying over Stefan’s ripper ways and the fact that he and Elena may never be together ever again. BUT THIS PHONE CALL changed everything. He still cares! And he didn’t even have to say it. These two didn’t even need to be in the same room to feel the chemistry and heartbreak. Not only that, but I’ve read many Delena fans admitting that this scene was the one moment they started appreciating Stelena. Hands down, one of the best moments of the show.
