PARAMUS — A crowd of about 500 excited fans waited in line Saturday at Westfield Garden State Plaza to meet the stars of “The Vampire Diaries,” the CW Network teen TV drama.
Fans, mostly teens, crowded Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus for a chance to meet the stars of ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ Ian Somerhalder, left, Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley.
Many held roses and home-made posters, and some wore “Vampire Diaries” T-shirts and their hearts on their sleeves.

Fast Tube by Casper biggest fan. I got him a rose and made him a card, and I started crying when I found out I was going to meet him,” said Bianca Iannacco, 16, of Wayne, who was first on the scene with friend Aylin Erzene, 16. They arrived Saturday at 5 a.m. to get in line for a 3 p.m. appearance by the cast.
