Actor Paul Wesley stopped by the studio to talk about his starring role as Stefan Salvatore in the new CW series Vampire Diaries.
Based on the popular book series of the same name by L.J. Smith, The Vampire Diaries is set in the small town of Mystic Falls, Virginia at the start of the new school year. The show centers on Elena, a 17-year-old high school student who has lost her parents in a fatal car accident. Ever the popular one, Elena struggles with grief as she tries to help herself and her younger brother Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) move on with their lives.
Elena and her friends become fascinated with mysterious new kid Stefan (Wesley) who has recently enrolled in their high school. Trying to live among humans, Stefan, a centuries-old vampire, is immediately drawn to Elena. But trouble begins when Stefan’s brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder), the embodiment of vampire violence and brutality, tracks him down.
The role as Stefan seems to be made for Wesley. Little known fact: Wesley naturally has fangs. Check out the picture after the jump to see his pearly whites.
